last week the famous “Lonely Planet” just listed Tel Aviv as one of the world’s top ten brilliant beach cities. Just to be accurate, Tel Aviv was listed in the 7 place while Lonely Planet ranked Barcelona as number one, followed by Cape Town, Rio de Janeiro, Tangier, Sydney, Valencia, Dubai, Miami and England’s Brighton.
“Lonely Planet” mentions that Tel Aviv is the total opposite of Jerusalem: “Tel Aviv is the total flipside of Jerusalem, a modern Sin City on the sea rather than an ancient holy city on a hill”
interesting enough, last week the famous “Lonely Planet” had listed Tel Aviv as one of the world’s top ten brilliant beach cities.
Just to be accurate, Tel Aviv was listed in the 7 place while Lonely Planet ranked Barcelona as number one, followed by Cape Town, Rio de Janeiro, Tangier, Sydney, Valencia, Dubai, Miami and England’s Brighton.
and even more interesting, “Lonely Planet” mentions that Tel Aviv is the total opposite of Jerusalem: ” Tel Aviv is the total flipside of Jerusalem, a modern Sin City on the sea rather than an ancient holy city on a hill “.
It is very interesting that the magazine editors bother to bite and note at the same time that Tel Aviv is not Jerusalem, which is as if they were saying that Miami is not Seattle. And they wrote about Miami, but did not mentioned that Miami is not Seattle. They also did not write Miami is not New York, and not even that Brighton is not London.
So why did they insist on writing that Tel Aviv is not Jerusalem?
But the most important point is that they have not forgotten to write that Tel Aviv (which is not as Jerusalem! said that already?) is a modern sin city (unlike Jerusalem!). Hinting about sex always brings some sort of traffic…
Timeout magazine had selected Tel Aviv skyline photo to be the cover of its Timeout global city 2013 vol. Tel Aviv city is being regarded today as a global city such as Berlin, Paris, Barcelona, London, Chicago or Prague.
The latest research sensing the worldwide startup scene compass pointed out the top 20 tech hubs on the planet.

the final list results came out in this order: Silicon Valley, Tel Aviv, Los Angeles, Seattle, New York, Boston, London, Toronto, Vancouver, Chicago, Paris, Sydney, Sao Paulo, Moscow, Berlin, Singapore, Melbourne and more…
that’s such a great news and a very interesting one: More of Tel Aviv and Israel can be found here
The Tel Aviv skyline photo was selected for the front cover of Time Out Global City 2013 magazine released this morning, and no, its not New York, nor Miami, not even Barcelona, and still – its beautiful
and its even not Toronto ! As we’ve seen so many times the Manhattan skyline, we can recognize it in less than a second. It is the worldwide most famous city skyline, even before Shanghai in China, Tokyo in Japan, and even London in the UK.
My city is much smaller than all the above. Its probably less than 10% in its size comparing to these mega cities, and it would never have the amazing vibes and skyline of Manhattan or London. but still, there is a magic in my town.
Tel Aviv 2012 is not Paris nor Sydney, but it has its groove!

My city is much smaller than all the above. Its probably less than 10% in its size comparing to these mega cities, and it would never have the amazing vibes and skyline of Manhattan or London. but still, there is a magic in my town. There is a good energy, around the clock, there is a nice but not brilliant architecture, and above all – there are fantastic people always open to talk and to have beer together.
Tel Aviv 2012 is not Paris nor Sydney, but it has its groove! More of my Tel Aviv images can always be found at my Ronsho Visual Art
the fantastic Tel Aviv shoreline with the the front of Andromeda rock which is the rock to which beautiful Andromeda was chained in Greek mythology.
Andromeda was the daughter of Cepheus and Cassiopeia. Cassiopeia bragged how she was more beautiful than the Nereids, who were often going out and about with Poseidon.
On the distance the Tel Aviv riviera can be clearly viewed. Well, its not Barcelona, or Miami, or Ibiza, or Sydney, but still – its so beautiful !
The beautiful relaxed beach of Tel Aviv with its nice sand, some would call it even “the riviera” ofTel Aviv.
The summer is already here with 35 degrees hot but relaxed atmosphere and piece of mind. You can observe the volleyball sand playgrounds in this beach as if it is Ipanema, Ibiza, Miami or even California.
The Tel Aviv promenade (“hatayelet”) is so inviting, so welcome to summer 2012.
lets enjoy the party!
