The latest research sensing the worldwide startup scene compass pointed out the top 20 tech hubs on the planet.
Those technology startup companies were ranked using indicators such as startup output, funding, performance, talent, support, trendsetting etc.

guess what? After the famous Silicon Valley, Tel Aviv had been ranked “Best for Tech Startups” !

a Kodak moment at the port

inspired by the famous Alfred Hitchcock’s scene in the film “North by Northwest”, this cinematic scene is a tribute to this American thriller film starring Cary Grant and Eva Marie.

The gorgeous sunset at Tel Aviv port was captured while a plane was heading to the close by airport.

The sea, the sun, the beautiful feathered clouds, the wooden deck, and the orange flames all together were so wonderful and contributed to such a majestic scene, a Kodak moment !

An interview with Ron Shoshani, photographer from Israel who became popular by photographing the cityscape of Tel Aviv.
“Zeit Online” published an article about him two weeks ago (link below).

Shalom Ron. Yesterday I asked a friend what he knows about Tel Aviv. He knew nothing. I asked what he thinks when hearing “Tel Aviv”. Several times he started to speak but didn’t find any words. I asked why it was so hard for him to answer. He told: ‘I think of war, Jerusalem, Palestinians, desert. But I know all this has nothing to do with Tel Aviv.
Ron, tell us about Tel Aviv:

Ron:  Tel Aviv is a modern city, sometimes comparable to cities like Berlin, London, Barcelona or even New York. It has a mix of old and new architecture, small houses and skyscrapers; it has a wonderful beach, a vivid nightlife scene, fashion stores and a large variety of restaurants. All in all, it feels like some other European cities although the weather is a bit hotter, maybe like Madrid in Spain or Rome in Italy.

Tel Aviv is a super small city in the middle east, and photography wise it can not be compared to New York or London.

Tel Aviv, a fast growing city

However, for those who love higher temperatures, Tel Aviv could be fun. It is a summer city with sunny days around the year.

As there are less then 10 winter days in Tel Aviv, most people enjoy the beaches, or just walking in the nice streets.

Tel Aviv center sometimes known as Kikar Hamedina, is the largest square in Israel and contains many shopping opportunities for the fashionistas.

Tel Aviv – Neveh Tzedek

Tel Aviv – a skyline view the very first neighborhoods, Neveh Tzedek with its small houses, and ancient Jaffa on the top part. Tel Aviv is a small city, similar to Barcelona, and resides by the sea. At past times, pilgrims used to arrive to Israel by ships, land at Jaffa port and take the train to Jerusalem.
